Trip to Canencia

We went to Canencia at the beginning of the third term.
It was very funny because we did a lot of things. There were monitors to guide us in the trip.
They showed us lots of plants and flowers. We saw beautiful landscapes.

Egyptian Temple of Debod

In 5º we went to Egyptian Temple of Debod. We learnt all about mummies and we acted in a Theatre.

Halloween

In October we celebrated  HALLOWEEN playing games like, bob an apple and ghost faces. We made diplays.

Cultural Week

 This year in Cultural Week we studied different English Speaking countries. We dressed up in national costumes and     danced.                                        
                                                                                      

Carranque Museum

In 5º we went to Carranque Museum, a Roman Villa near Toledo. We learnt about Romans and we made a mosaic.

Geominero Museum

We went to the Geominero Museum in Madrid, where we studied rocks, minerals and fossils. It was fascinating.

Workshops with the english child

Last week 50 english children visited our school and took part in workshops like; webquest, spanish, sports, salsa, modern dance and music. They ate in our houses.

Fotos London 2013

Este año nos lo hemos pasado genial en Londres. El lunes llegamos al hostal, deshicimos las maletas y cenamos,más tarde nos fuimos a ver parques y palacios en London West End, Además nos estuvimos haciendo unas fotos con las típicas cabinas telefónicas de Londres.


This year we've had great time in London. On Monday we got to the hostel, dumped our bags and had dinner. Later we went to see parks and palaces in London´s West End, also we were taking some pictures with the typical London phone booths.




 El martes cogimos el metro hacia Tower Bridge e hicimos un recorrido por la ciudad y por el río Támesis donde vimos desde lejos el HMS Belfast e hicimos un cuestionario sobre Londres.Tomamos un aperitivo y más tarde cogimos un barco desde Bankside hacia el London Eye luego comimos en el giraffe y a continuación nos montamos en el London Eye y finalmente nos fuimos a tomar pizza en St James´Park y finalmente fuimos hacia el albergue,
llamamos a nuestros padres y a dormir.


 On Tuesday we took the underground to Tower Bridge and we toured the city and the River Thames where we saw from afar the HMS Belfast and we answered a quiz about London. We had a snack and then took a boat from Bankside to the London Eye. Then ate in the giraffe and then hopped on the London Eye. Then we went for pizza at St James' Park and finally went to the lodge.
We called our parents and we went to sleep.












Más tarde fuimos a un par de museos,y al web-lab donde estuvimos investigando
fósiles y insectos.Por la tarde fuimos al teatro
 "Dominion" a ver Will We Rock You nos lo
pasamos genial.

Later we went to a couple of museums, and laboratories and web-labs where we were investigating fossils and insects. In the afternoon we went to the theater "Dominion" to see We Will Rock You, we had a great time.










El jueves fuimos al colegio Speldhurst y Southborough donde conocimos a los compañeros que escribiamos desde España.En cada colegio hicimos juegos con nuestros compañeros aunque algunos los tuvieran en el otro colegio nos lo pasamos muy bien.Los colegios eran muy grandes y los patios de los recreos eran muy grandes,todo era verde.Comimos en el comedor del colegio Southborough la comida estaba deliciosa,nos dieron:pañitos de pescado con judias típicas de allí y patatas fritas,de postre una especie de bizcocho delicioso.Cuando nos fuimos a sus casas a la mayoria de nosotros nos llevaron al mismo parque estuvo divertido.


 On Thursday we went to school Speldhurst and Southborough where we met our penpal friends who had written to us from Spain. In both schools we played with our penpal friends we had a great time. The schools were very big and the playgrounds of the breaks were great, everything was green. We ate in the school dining hall of Southborough. The food was delicious, we had: beans, typical fish and chips there, in a kind of sponge cake dessert delicious. When we went to their homes and most of  them took us to the same park which was fun.

El viernes hicimos las maletas por la mañana y nos montamos dentro del HMS Belfast no dio un poco de miedo ya que dentro del barco habia muñecos de cera que no te esperabas.Después cogimos las maletas para dirigirnos al autobus que nos llevaria hacia el aeropuerto.Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que nuestro vuelo se habia atrasado y tuvimos que esperar unas horas hasta que nos llevaron hacia la puerta de embarque.Desde el cielo habia una vistas increibles.

On Friday we packed up in the morning and hopped onto the HMS Belfast. We were afraid inside the boat as we didn´t expect the wax figures. Then we took our bags and headed to the bus that would take us to the airport. When we arrived we were told that our flight had been delayed and had to wait a few hours until we drove towards the gate. From the sky there were some incredible views.

Adios Londres.......

Nos lo pasamos genial y nunca vamos a olvidar este momento.

We had a great time and we'll never forget this moment.
